Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Electrical and Electronics engineering has gained rapid importance in view of ever increasing demand for power. Many public and private sector companies are looking forward to recruit Electrical Engineering graduates. The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering was established and molded in KITE in the year of 2007 keeping in view, the broad objectives of Technical education in general and specific needs of Power Engineers in particular. The Department has qualified & experienced faculty and adequate & well furnished laboratories to cater to the needs of the students as per the university norms & curriculum. The Dept. is responsible for Electrical maintenance of the entire Institution.

The Department has fully equipped labs with modern technical software. The Department has rich experienced and dedicated faculty with back ground of industry and teaching experience. The department organizes regular seminars experts lectures from industry and institutions to mould enthusiastic students in to excellent Engineers, while exposure to the latest technologies fosters the creativity and independent thinking of students.

In this Lab the students are informed about the DC Machine working principle and construction details.

ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS LAB (or) NET WORK THEORY LAB:

This lab has been established with CRO ‘S, trainer kits, R PS and Function Generators .Here the students check the circuits and prove that the network Theorems practically and theoretically.

FLUID MECHANICS LAB:

This lab has been established with turbines and pump sets. In this lab the students are made to learn the practical details about the turbines and pump sets, their constructional details, working principles, and also how they are used in workshops.

WORK SHOP:

Work shop is equipped with carpentry work, fitting tools, Domestic wiring and Tin smith materials.
