| Wishing our students bright future - HOD | | | Role of Computer Applications Department MCA Course was started in the year 2008 in KITE. The Department endeavors to enable the students to identify challenging problems, perceive and offer effective computer based solutions. All the students of the department are trained in the industry needed latest technologies. Students are encouraged to do LIVE Projects, with the experienced and dedicated faculty of the department. At KITE, the Department of Computer Applications is focused on how people, software and information and their interactions are viewed from the perspective of a computing discipline. This is reflected in the departments teaching and research agenda. These three key elements are also the basis through which the department builds collaborative linkages with other researchers, departments and colleges. The focus in Computer Applications department is on the fundamental properties and processes associated with software and are complemented by the discipline-centered applications of software systems. Long Term Goals • To make the department a center for Excellence in the areas of . Wireless Communications . Database Management • To strengthen the Industry – Institute interaction. • To promote Research and Consultancy activities by laisoning with the industry to generate revenue for the Department.
